A man in his middle ages tragically lost his life in a road accident that occurred at Turlough Hill, within Wicklow County, this past Monday. The authorities were informed of an event involving a motorbike around half past noon on the same day.
The rider, a chap in his 50s, sustained fatal injuries. The thoroughfare had been temporarily shut down to allow for on-site forensic investigations by the Garda, but it has now been re-opened. The local medical examiner’s office has been appraised and plans are underway for an autopsy.
