A gentleman has tragically lost his life in a residential blaze in Limerick

A fatal house fire has taken place in the vicinity of the University of Limerick, specifically in Kilmurry Village. Announcements reveal the incident transpired just shy of midnight. Emergency services were notified of the incident at 41 minutes past 11pm, at which point several resources were deployed from both Limerick City and Cappamore County, including four fire engines and a high-reaching platform.

It was a laborious night for the firefighters affiliated with the Limerick City and County Fire Service, who spent approximately five hours extinguishing the fire and secure the location. They wrapped up their operations and returned to their stations shortly after 5am that morning.
