A gentleman from Ireland loses his life to drowning during a swim in the Spanish sea

In the southeastern region of Spain, a tragedy unfolded when an Irish male, reportedly in his 70s, lost his life whilst swimming in the ocean at Cala Capitán. The event happened during Monday night as per regional media outlets.

Following the event, the Department of Foreign Affairs established their knowledge of the incident. They’ve initiated offering diplomatic support subsequent to the incident, as declared by a department representative.
