Apparently, an Aprilia dealer in Nottingham, UK, has recently been delivered a new 2014 Aprilia Tuono V4R – the popular and performing naked biked of the Italian manufacturer – and a user of the Aprilia Forum who goes under the nickname of ‘Hinckley’ has quite promptly uploaded the first images of the model on the internet.
In addition to the photos, good ‘Hinckley’ also listed the new features of 2014 Tuono, reporting that the model will receive the new adjustable multi-map ABS, a larger tank, a new exhaust system as well as other less significant updates (see the full list after the jump).
The sophisticated Tuono can also be equipped with the advanced and well known APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control, which incorporates traction control, wheelie control, launch control and quick-shifter), so we can expect it to become even more expensive than the 14,100 Euro currently required for the Tuono V4 R and 16,100 Euros needed to grab the Tuono V4 R with APRC.
The engine will remeain that of the outgoing model, a 1000 cc V4 with a total output of 167 horsepower and 111 Nm of peak torque that all that electronic staff will be in charge of taming.
The Aprilia Multimedia Platform that debuted on the Caponord 1200 will also be available as an optional extra.
We will be waiting for more details on the subject, but since this major ‘leak’ just occurred, Aprilia might decide to reveal more info and images of the new Tuono way before than they thought.
