Here are the main models of the 2010 Harley Davidson collection.
The four new 2010 Harley Davidson models are the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Dyna Wide Glide, Fat Boy Special, and XR1200X. In addition to new work from Harley Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) chroming and accessorizing department.
The new queen of Harley Davidson touring bikes is the Electra Glide Ultra Limitedm with more power thanks to its Twin Cam 103 engine. It picks up a few extra accessories that are generally available only as optional extras on the other models in the range, to make it a top-spec tourer.
The Dyna Wide Glide is back with completely new updates, and a “old school” chopper style. It has black spoke wheels, a shorter, rear fender, black “wire” sissy bar, 2-1-2 Tommy Gun exhaust and a limited flame paint scheme. The new Fat Boy Special model is darker than ever, and lowered, and is still defining the fat-custom segment.
It has satin-chrome features and black denim colour for a very mean-looking finish. But the real news is the brand spanking new XR1200X, based on last year’s XR1200. It is Harley Davidson’s first attempt at a European-style bike. Moreover, it now has a more aggressive look with blacked-out engine casing, upside-down forks, and a matt black tail, tank and mudguards.
It was not uncommon for the Italian brand Rizoma to design a line of accessories for Harley Davidson motorcycles. It happened for example on the occasion of the tuning set Night Rod. Rizoma did the same for the Ducati Diavel line.
It has a slightly sports style, Showa suspension and separate tank for greater performance. The final look at the 2010 Harley Davidson range is with the CVO versions, with four models in limited series. The two brand new models are the CVO Softail Convertible and the CVO Street Glide.
The Softail is a versatile city/country tourer-cruiser, while the Street Glide is a high performance bike. The main CVO features of the above bikes are as follows; replacement polished Stinger wheels, modern fairing and screen, QD pillion seat and backrest, and a series of brand new colours. Moreover, all CVO models are equipped with a Twin Cam 110, Harley Davidson’s largest motor available.
