Italy’s lottery of 147 million euros recently won by one lucky person, has entered lottery history, becoming the 4th biggest lottery win in Europe.
On an international scale, the first, way ahead of the pack is the MegaMillions American lottery which bestowed a massive 390 million US dollars on two winners (Mega, indeed).
Second place goes to another American lottery, Powerball, with a jackpot of 365 million dollars won back in 2006 by eight colleagues playing together who divided the winnings.
In Europe the biggest win ever was with EuroMillions when three tickets divided the jackpot of 183 million euros in 2006.
Italy’s SuperEnalotto win of 147.
8 million euros is the biggest individual lottery win on the continent, and fourth overall.
If you missed out this time and want to have another go, the jackpot has started again at a mere 38 million euros.
I still wouldn’t say no.
